I have always had the insatiable urge to be doing something creative with my hands.  From a young age, I would spend sleepless nights learning art and crafting skills from everything ranging from bookbinding, illuminated manuscripts + calligraphy, to the more in-depth nuances of fine art.

Though my career as a fine artist has been the road most closely followed – this need to always be making objekts of one form or another, has occupied the moments in-between.

This is how Of The Earth Studios was born – as a place to offer these odds and ends, and as a means of creating one of kind work that is functional as it is aesthetic, from local sourced natural materials and upcycled objekts.

Everything Changes | Nothing Is Ever The Same

I hope that you enjoy browsing through the objekts here until finding something that speaks to you – as much as I enjoyed the processes of conceiving and creating them.  All items here are truly one of a kind, are typically seasonal, material dependent and are spurred by my interest at the time.  So things here are always changing and shifting, and items may not be available again once they are gone.  i believe that not only does this approach best utilize found and recycled objekts, but also offers collectors something truly unique to adorn their home or themselves.
